DN33 Jukebox: February 6, 2020

Every #throwbackthursday, the DN33 Jukebox will be full of all the songs mentioned in the weekly This Week . . . 33 Years Ago charts as well as whatever else is hitting our fancy throughout the week.

For instance, even though we’ll discuss the #1 songs in R&B and country . . . dang it, I need to hear some Cameo and some “Candy” this week. Oh. My .God! Might even need to add “Word Up” in there too. I mean if that picture up there can’t get you through this Thursday, I don’t know how to help you.

Some others that got some play this week: “Let It Whip,” “Juicy Fruit,” “Lovely Day, and “The Girl is Mine.” Little R&B heavy, but that’s the way it goes some times.
